Buckner International is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a broad set of duties across Camp Buckner in Burnet, TX. The role encompasses electrical, plumbing, HVAC, landscaping, and general facilities maintenance to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for guests.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and be capable of obtaining a groundwater license and a Certified Pool Operator certificate within the specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow basic written and oral step-by-step instructions.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2 years prior related janitorial and maintenance experience preferred.
• Requires ability to acquire and maintain a Class D or higher groundwater license within 12 months of hire.
• Requires ability to acquire and maintain a Certified Pool Operator certificate within 6 months of hire.
• Proficient English speaking, reading, and writing.
• Excellent organization and communication skills, both oral and in writing.
• Ability to drive assigned vehicle(s) or personal vehicle with valid license and insurance; eligible to rent vehicles domestically and internationally; must be 21+.

Responsabilités

• Maintain Camp property and equipment per best practices.
• Operate, maintain, and repair lawn and grounds equipment.
• Perform routine pool maintenance and water balance control.
• Repair electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other facility systems as directed.
• Monitor and follow maintenance schedules and safety procedures.
• Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and safe at all times.
