Roundup River Ranch is seeking a Prep Chef to support daily kitchen and foodservice duties, ensuring high standards of food preparation and sanitation for campers, staff and volunteers. You will help provide safe, high-quality meals while accommodating dietary needs and working with a diverse team in a camp setting.

The role requires collaboration with the Food Service Manager and volunteers, adherence to safety standards, and flexibility across weekdays, weekends, and evenings at the Gypsum, CO

Qualifications

• Experience working in a commercial kitchen is preferred.
• ServeSafe Certification or willingness and ability to obtain.
• Ability to work in a facility that is smoke free, tobacco free, drug free (including medical and recreation marijuana), and alcohol free.
• Passion for the Roundup River Ranch Mission.

Responsabilités

• Ensure kitchen is sanitary and organized daily.
• Support food deliveries and proper storage of goods.
• Assist with meal production and service for up to 200.
• Maintain daily cleaning/sanitizing schedules and temperature logs.
• Assist with dishwashing as needed.
• Work with kitchen staff and volunteers on daily tasks.
• Support dietary needs across camp teams.
• Teach staff and volunteers safe meal setup and cleanup.
• Follow Colorado/ACA standards and other required guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
