Job summary

Young Life is seeking a food service professional to support camp operations and hospitality, living out the ministry’s Christian mission. The role emphasizes serving guests with Christ-like hospitality, managing food service tasks, and mentoring volunteers.

Must have at least one year of college or culinary training, and aim to obtain ServeSafe certification within six months. The position involves physical tasks and may require lifting; compensation is US base pay for the United States Camp

Qualifications

Experience in the food service industry preferred.
Demonstrate understanding of Young Life ministry, strategy, and mission.
Experience in organizing and prioritizing tasks.
Demonstrate professionalism in written and verbal communication with guests, vendors and staff.

Responsibilities

Participate in opportunities for growing deeper in your relationship with Jesus.
Develop an annual personal spiritual growth plan with supervisor guidance.
Provide attentive hospitality, planning and evaluating menus with Young Life Food Service standards.
Build guest relationships, collaborate across departments, and uphold service excellence.
Manage finances, people, buildings, and equipment entrusted to the Food Services department.
Develop interns and volunteers and support staff training and development.
