Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Seattle is seeking a part-time Resident Camp Dishwasher to support the Food Services Director in all camp food services for staff and guests. You will join the kitchen team for food prep, dishwashing, and maintaining cleanliness, under supervision of the Food Services Director. This role ensures healthy, organized camp meals.

You will participate in trainings, follow safety regulations, and may work varied shifts including nights and weekends; compensation is $21.30 per hour.

Qualifications

• 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Six months or more related experience or training preferred.
• Ability to understand and communicate basic directions verbally in English.
• Current Washington State Food Handlers Card.

Responsibilities

• Assists Food Services Director as needed.
• Follows all Food and Safety Regulations.
• Washes dishes.
• Cleans pots and pans.
• Performs general cleaning of kitchen and lodge.
• Completes daily preparation as assigned.
• Attends kitchen staff meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Current Washington State CPR certification

Current state-approved first aid certification
