YMCA Camp MacLean in Burlington, WI is seeking a part-time housekeeper to handle cleaning of sleeping quarters and restrooms, and to lead turnaround between rental groups. Responsibilities include basic laundry, stocking supplies, and performing light maintenance under supervision.

The role reports to the Camp Maintenance & Facility Manager and emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and guest readiness. Flexible weekend and some weekday shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Average written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk stairs, lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Put customer needs first; ensures camp is accessible in all seasons and clean.
• Thoroughly clean all sleeping quarters, cabins and restrooms as assigned; focus on detailed cleaning between rental groups.
• Keep cleaning supplies organized and stocked.
• Basic laundry as related to maintenance needs.
• Basic upkeep like replacing light bulbs, plunging toilets, replacing batteries.
• Follow all safety procedures as trained.
• Maintain all cleaning & sanitation standards (except for food service).
• Other duties as assigned.
