Job summary

Buckner International is seeking a Housekeeper at Camp Buckner in Burnet, TX, onsite. You will ensure camp common and guest areas are clean and sanitized, meeting Buckner's quality, service, and hospitality standards.

The role involves coordinating with supervisors, performing light repairs, using provided tools, supporting retreats and events, and maintaining safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• Reads, writes, speaks, and understands English sufficiently.
• Spanish language proficiency preferred for effective communication.
• Mechanically inclined with ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Able to perform basic repairs on furnishings and equipment.
• Organized with record-keeping and checklist development skills.
• Acts as safety coordinator for housekeeping team.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, cabins, and common areas to Buckner standards.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping Supervisor on retreat schedules and guest needs.
• Perform minor repairs and maintain equipment as directed.
• Complete room and building checklists; report issues promptly.
• Set up and take down furniture and equipment for events.
• Provide support for retreats, conferences, and campus activities.
• Maintain documentation accurately and on time.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions to supervision.
