The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 2 years’ camper-related experience, flexible hours including some evenings, CPR/First Aid (and lifeguard where required).

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED with 2 years proven job-related experience serving campers.
• Must be able to work flexible hours with some evening work required.
• CPR/AED/FIRST AID Certification required.
• Lifeguard certification required depending upon location.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily activities at the assigned camp location, including customer service, sports and swim instruction, safety, and problem resolution.
• Foster a welcoming environment and create a dynamic camp experience for campers.
• Coordinate with staff and Camp Executive Director to ensure safety and adherence to Hubbard safety standards.
• Maintain high level of customer service and professional presentation.
• Communicate with parents, campers, and staff to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
• Assist in lesson planning and program activities for summer camp.
• Manage records and payments related to campers and registrations.
• Lead by example as a role model and mentor for counselors.
