Job summary

Alpha is seeking a Camp Director to lead K-3 coaching, using data and observation to drive growth. This role coaches Guides and students, builds coaching playbooks, and mentors staff in high-performance coaching.

You will work in person at a campus in New York City or Miami, with relocation support; a Bachelor's degree is required and 5+ years with elementary-aged children; leadership and program-building experience are essential; US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, Organizational Leadership, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience with elementary-aged children (ages 5–9).
• Experience leading teams of five+ people and making hiring decisions.
• Experience building or growing a program, school, team, or initiative.
• Demonstrated success using data and measurable outcomes to improve team or student performance.
• Compelling storytelling and facilitation skills to engage young children and coach adults.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coach Guides and students using performance data and observations to achieve measurable improvements.
• Lead workshops for K-3 students focused on communication, resilience, collaboration, accountability, focus, and life skills.
• Lead one-on-one and small-group coaching sessions connecting student motivation to academic growth and independence.
• Build and refine repeatable coaching playbooks to raise performance across the Guide team.
• Train and mentor Guides while modeling exceptional coaching and facilitation every day.
