Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Food Service Operations Director to lead camp dining operations at our rural summer sites across the US. This on-site, live-in role demands hands-on leadership of kitchen and FOH teams, budgeting, scheduling, and allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

You will oversee all daily culinary and service operations, maintain health standards, manage inventory, and collaborate with camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office to deliver exceptional

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking.
• ServSafe Manager Certified (Allergens required before start date).
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operations & Leadership: Lead, schedule, and train FOH and kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Culinary & Quality Excellence: Manage operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Allergen & Safety Compliance: Strictly manage food allergy protocols and maintain top Health Department sanitation standards.
• Administration & Budget: Manage inventory, place food orders, control budgets, track daily reporting.
• Client Relations: Serve as the main liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
