An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Camp Coordinator to oversee weekend and summer camps. POSITION SUMMARY: The Camp Coordinator reports to the Children’s Beach House Youth Development Program (YDP) Director. The Camp Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the operation of the weekend and summer camps, including staffing, management, programming, and training. The Camp Coordinator will collaborate with other CBH staff to support the camp program. This is a twelve-month, full-time position.
The Camp Coordinator is charged with managing summer and weekend camping in accordance with Board Policy and within federal, state, and local laws. The role involves supporting the agency’s mission, vision, and values, while developing a positive public image. The Coordinator must meet or exceed all regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate shall be a leader, guide, and participant in establishing a best-practices model of positive youth development in Delaware.

Youth development programs (YDP) prepare young people for adolescence and adulthood through structured activities that build social, emotional, ethical, physical, and cognitive skills. CBH’s approach addresses developmental assets like caring relationships, safe environments, health, skills, and civic participation, contrasting deficit-based models that focus solely on problems.
