Job summary

Guiding young people as is seeking a Cabin Leader to create a safe and supportive camp experience in Big Bear Valley, Missouri. The role involves fostering social skills and responsibility among campers while leading activities and ensuring their safety. Candidates should possess at least a High School Diploma, preferably with camp experience and be First Aid certified. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a stipend of $130 per day, requiring dedication to camper success and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with K-12 students in an academic or recreational setting preferred.
• Must be First Aid/CPR certified (training provided by Woodcraft Rangers).
• Successful completion of life-scan/background check with DOJ, FBI.
• Experience working with youth in a camp environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, fun, and supportive camp experience for campers.
• Focus on camper development and ensure safety.
• Participate in program activities for campers.
• Lead activities and supervise evening programs.
