Job summary

Teledyne FLIR seeks an organized technician to support manufacturing operations, verify test procedures, and ensure hardware quality. You will perform electrical measurements, set up testing equipment, and document results while collaborating with engineering to improve procedures.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or electronics experience, basic English proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 20 lb.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 2+ years of experience in electronics industry.
• Able to understand mechanical and electrical concepts.
• Able to read and understand written test procedures.
• Able to have good manual dexterity.
• Experience working with a computer and utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English to communicate test results.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs., unassisted.
• Must be able to push or pull up to 50 lbs., unassisted.
• Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods of time.
• Attention to Detail in measurements and tests.
• Analytical Problem-Solving for test failure analysis.
• Collaboration & Teamwork with engineers and support personnel.

Responsibilities

This position utilizes production tooling, computers, and specialized equipment to support manufacturing operations and track materials and work-in-process (WIP). Identifies, documents, and evaluates nonconforming materials, performing rework on discrepant or RMA materials as needed. Conducts final verification testing and packaging of camera assemblies to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications. Collaborates with coworkers, managers, and engineering to troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Performs electrical measurements and tests in accordance with test procedures and engineering specifications

• Set up and check out test stations and equipment

• Maintains accurate records of work performed, analyzes data collected, and reports results

• Removes, replaces, and assembles parts or assemblies as required

• Performs necessary touch up and cleaning of deliverable hardware

• Assists engineering in developing test procedures for new products

• Monitors consumables required to support test activities

• Maintain inventory of tooling and equipment on hand and advise on equipment required to meet production schedules including obsolete, repair or calibration status

• Perform other related duties and special assignments as required

Job Qualifications:

Salary Range:

$39,000.00-$52,000.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
