Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. in San Diego, CA is seeking a Camera Engineer to help advance imaging across Mobile, Automotive, XR, IoT, and Compute spaces. You will research, design, verify and optimize complex camera systems integrating hardware and software to deliver high-quality ISP, 3A, and tuning tools.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, document architectures and features, and strive for performance, power efficiency, and reliability in real-world devices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering, CS or related field; 2+ years in software/hardware/embedded contexts
• Master's degree or PhD welcomed; 1+ year experience if applicable
• 2+ years experience in programming (C/C++, Python) and embedded/imaging domains

Responsibilities

• Research, design, verify, debug, implement and validate complex camera systems (HW/SW); including ISP, 3A, image quality and tuning tools
• Decompose architecture, IQ modules, algorithms and features to meet hardware requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document technical outputs clearly to guide usage and implementation
