Qualcomm Innovation Center, Inc. is seeking an experienced Camera Software Application Engineer Sr. Staff at our Santa Clara campus.

You will work with OEMs on design, development and debugging of reference software for camera systems, reading specs and integrating software within Qualcomm reference designs. You will apply C/C++ in embedded Linux Android environments, contribute to 3A algorithms, and assist customers with feature customization while prioritizing performance and power

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, CS or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years of programming in C/C++, Java, Python, etc.
• 3+ years of debugging and embedded software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to OEMs for design, development and debugging of Qualcomm reference designs.
• Assimilate quickly into existing projects, understand software driver architecture, read/write specs.
• Collaborate with customers to customize and launch new products.
