Job summary

The Offer Club, LLC in San Diego, CA is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer, Camera Modules to scale production of precision camera modules. You will build modules, set up automated stations, and train operators to run them.

Day to day you'll solder, install and focus lenses, debug electronics, and write basic Python tools and work instructions. Training will be provided for optical testing, with on-site collaboration across production teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 0-3+ years of relevant experience; internships count.
• Soldering experience and ability to read schematics and datasheets.
• Experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and bench power supplies.
• Basic Python skills and familiarity with Linux.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Take camera modules from first units to full production and write work instructions.
• Set up and debug automated camera focusing and assembly stations, including hardware, software, and equipment changeovers.
• Assemble cameras, including soldering, lens installation, focusing, adhesive application, and final inspection.
• Debug camera electronics using schematics, datasheets, and bench test equipment.
• Write basic Python tools for camera control, test automation, and data logging.
• Run customer intrinsic calibration requests, from test setup and image capture to delivering validated calibration files.
• Work on sensor drivers and image signal processor (ISP) tuning as projects come up.
• Test image quality, including modulation transfer function (MTF) measurements, and support environmental reliability testing. Training is provided.
