As a Camera Image Quality Lab Engineer, you will primarily work in a lab environment to test camera video quality. Your responsibilities include understanding image quality performance metrics, developing new test methodologies, and creating robust automation frameworks to measure performance results. You will also conduct real-world camera image quality verification, identify algorithm bugs, and perform initial analysis and triaging.
You will collaborate directly with the development team to design test strategies for video features in camera products. Your role involves participating in quality evaluations of new features and algorithms through laboratory and field studies, providing feedback to engineering teams, and summarizing findings for presentation to cross-functional teams, including executives. This position requires thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative, and multitasking environment, with occasional night testing to meet project needs.
Apple offers a competitive total compensation package, including base pay ranging from $136,300 to $248,700, depending on skills, experience, and location.
