Heydər Əliyev adına Müasir Təhsil Kompleksi - Xankəndi filialı is seeking a Primary Homeroom Teacher for the Khankendi Campus on a full-time basis. The role supports the International Cambridge stream, delivers age-appropriate lessons, and helps students develop curiosity and respect for their community.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor in pedagogy, 1–3 years of classroom experience, strong management and communication skills, and fluency in Azerbaijani with English at C1 level, with experience

• Bachelor degree in pedagogy and teacher training.
• 1–3 years of teaching experience in appropriate field.
• Ability to use modern educational and electronic equipment in the classroom.
• Fluent in Azerbaijani and English at C1 level.
• Relevant training certificates in the field.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
• Experience with the Cambridge curricula.
• Democratic, tolerant and open-minded qualities with critical thinking.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, school leaders and teachers.

Responsabilidades

• Organizes and supports students as a homeroom teacher, helping them develop respect for their country and environment.
• Maintains regular communication with parents and involves them in students' development.
• Conducts lessons appropriate to students' age, using different teaching methods and materials.
• Prepares lesson plans and ensures the curriculum is fully covered.
• Supervises and supports the work of other teachers in the team.
• Develops annual and daily plans, and monitors and evaluates progress.
• Participates in professional meetings and suggests improvements to teaching practices.
• Continuously works on professional development.
• Maintains discipline during lessons.
