Qualifications

• Must have professional proficiency in English and Cambodian.
• Must be able to provide consecutive interpretation between English and Cambodian.
• One or more years of interpreting experience preferred.
• Flexible to travel to onsite assignments and complete background/security checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and professional consecutive interpretation between English and Cambodian during onsite assignments.
• Provide remote interpretation by telephone or video when applicable to an accepted assignment.
• Follow interpreter protocols, professional standards, and client requirements.
• Comply with Propio and client ethics, confidentiality, privacy, security, and assignment protocols.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy in line with HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA, and client requirements.
• Maintain professional interactions with clients, patients, and other participants.
• Maintain language proficiency and subject-matter knowledge to perform assignments accurately.
