Job description

Note: Work location is on-site with flexibility, primarily in-office for meetings. Residence required in the primary location state - San Francisco North Bay - Marin/Sonoma/Napa, California.

Job Summary

In addition to the responsibilities listed above, this position is responsible for attending employer, community, and open enrollment events on an on-call basis to educate members and prospects on KP products. The role involves delivering formal presentations to employees and prospective members, monitoring and reporting on enrollment data, serving as an informational resource for sales and account management teams, and resolving customer questions about benefits and services.

Essential Responsibilities

  1. Relationship Building: Develop effective relationships by providing resources, advice, and expertise; listen and respond to feedback; mentor team members; pursue self-development; adapt to change; support team needs.
  2. Autonomous Work & Collaboration: Complete assignments using current expertise; follow procedures; collaborate cross-functionally; communicate progress; identify improvements.
  3. Customer Experience: Build relationships with brokers, channels, and customers; respond to needs; educate about products; escalate service issues for improvement.
  4. Enrollment & Implementation: Conduct enrollment meetings; advocate for customer needs; support membership processes including research, presentation, and training.
  5. Sales Strategy Development: Design plans for new products and pricing; analyze industry trends; execute account plans; analyze performance data; use marketing resources.
  6. Sales Goal Attainment: Collaborate to find growth opportunities; maintain prospect data; contribute to product design; recommend strategies; increase cross-sell/up-sell opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, or related field AND two (2) years of relevant experience OR five (5) years of relevant experience.
  • Accident and Health Insurance License (California) within 3 months of hire.
