Job description

Note: Work location is remote (e.g., home address), per KP’s Authorized States Policy. Employees may be required to travel to a KP or customer site. Residence required in the primary location: 4125 Bangs Ave., Modesto, California 95356.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for attending employer, community, and open enrollment events on an on-call basis to educate members and prospects about KP products; delivering formal presentations to employees and prospective members; monitoring and reporting on enrollment performance data and discrepancies; serving as an informational resource for sales and account management teams regarding KP health plans and benefit offerings; utilizing foundational knowledge of KP health plans to facilitate presentations; and resolving customer questions and concerns about benefits and services.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Relationship Building: Develop effective relationships by providing resources, information, advice, and expertise; listen to and address feedback; mentor team members; pursue self-development; adapt to change; support team needs to achieve business outcomes.
  2. Autonomous Work and Collaboration: Complete work independently using up-to-date expertise; follow procedures and policies; collaborate cross-functionally; communicate progress; identify and address improvement opportunities.
  3. Customer Experience: Build relationships with brokers, channels, and customers; gather customer needs data; respond to and educate about products and services; escalate service issues; identify process improvements.
  4. Enrollment and Implementation: Conduct enrollment meetings; serve as an advocate during membership processes; support team efforts in enrollment, renewal, and training activities.
  5. Sales Strategy Development: Design plans for new products and benefits; analyze industry trends and competitors; execute account plans; analyze performance data; utilize marketing resources.
  6. Sales Goal Attainment: Collaborate to identify growth opportunities; maintain prospect databases; contribute to product and plan design; provide recommendations; implement protocols to increase cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
