Set the tone for a superb care experience.Provides superior telephone customer service for patients seeking access or assistance. This can include rotation through Call Cloud.Verifies all patient demographic and insurance information.Answers incoming phone calls (at site or in Call Cloud) professionally and knowledgably about Union Community Care access and services.Fully understands the Sliding Fee Discount Policy and Procedures. Offers Sliding Fee Discount to all patients.Monitors Solution Reach appointment communication platform and cancels, schedules and changes appointments as requested by patients.Connect with care teams for first call resolutions.Create patient cases when needed.Attends site meetings.Performs other work-related duties as assigned.POSITION REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or G.E.D., Administrative Assistant Degree or Medical Assistant DegreeExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsExhibits excellent communication skillsAttention to detailGood basic computer skillsEnglish proficiency requiredStrong team playerCompliance with HIPAA regulationsKnowledge of medical terminology a plusESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSIn order to fulfill the requirements of this position, duties 1-10 are considered essential functions of the job.ORGANIZATIONAL INVOLVEMENTThis position is required to participate in mandatory all staff meetings, team meetings and trainings.
