Job summary

Behavioral Health Connections, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a dynamic Call Center Specialist for part-time overnight shifts to support patient care operations within the Universal Health Services network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred Associate Degree.
• Preferred 1–3 years work related experience.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention and risk assessment, psychiatric diagnoses symptomology, basic chemical dependency, age specific growth and development and crisis and behavior management.

Responsibilities

• Answers phones at Behavioral Health Connections and takes demographic information related to the person to be assessed.
• Coordinates and processes patient documents and paperwork for patient transfers.
• Ensures all required information is accurately documented within several information system programs.
• Assists Mobile Assessment Team Evaluator with commitment process, paperwork, and transfer process, if necessary.

Behavioral Health Connections (BHC) in Houston, TX is seeking a dynamic and talented Call Center Specialist Part Time overnight shifts to join the team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. The Call Center Specialist performs administrative functions to include assistance in the processes for managing patient care by monitoring referrals and connecting them to relevant health care providers. Organizing, facilitating, and coordinating the timely evaluation with therapist and the acceptance of patients referred for services, insurance verification and data entry.

Schedule Required (28 Hours weekly):

• Mon, Tue, Wed, and Thur from 2am till 06:45 am
• Sunday 10pm till 7:30am
