Prismhr Hire is seeking a Corporate Medical Call Center Clerk to support a single specialty group in Orlando, FL. The role handles patient calls, schedules in-house procedures, verifies insurance, and updates EMR records with care and confidentiality.

The candidate should have strong phone etiquette, prior call center or telemarketing experience, and a Medical Assistant degree. English and Spanish fluency is a plus, with basic data-entry and math skills.

• Electronic Health Records experience (E-Clinical Works a plus).

Aufgaben

• Phones efficiently answered with proper etiquette.
• Obtain 90% target for inbound and outbound calls to and from patients.
• Schedules patients for in-house procedures in the correct office with the proper physician or tech.
• Directs calls to the proper department such as billing, HR, MA, refills, medical records.
• Conversations documented in patient medical records if needed.
• Schedules new and established patients and verifies insurance and primary care doctor information.
• Updates patient information in EMR.
• Collects insurance information and updates personal data in patient EMR file.
• Collects patient oop (out of pocket cost) ex. Co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles, patient balance.
• Maintains privacy and confidentiality per Code of Conduct and HIPAA guidelines.

• Obtain 90% target for Inbound and Outboundcalls to and from patients

• Follows the Best Practice Scheduling. Phonecalls directed to the proper department, if applicable, such as: billing, HR, MA, refills, medical records etc.
