The Call Center Nurse RN provides comprehensive clinical services to customers across the U.S., requiring multiple state licenses. Services include clinical triage, transitions of care, medication adherence, reconciliation, and other care extension services. The nurse guides patients toward self-management and behavior modifications to improve outcomes. They are the primary contact for multiple disciplines, and success is measured by improved patient outcomes, prevention of adverse events, customer satisfaction, quality measures, and collaboration with care team members. This role requires an experienced nurse capable of independent task performance and providing patient education based on best practices, with an understanding of how interactions affect satisfaction and process improvement.

Positions require a current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.

This is a PART TIME role working 7:30am – 6pm Eastern, 2 days per week — either Mon and Friday or Wednesday and Thursday.

You can work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. and take on meaningful challenges.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Provide remote telephonic nursing support to patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers
  2. Assess and triage patient calls to determine urgency
  3. Offer medical advice, guidance, and education regarding treatment, medication management, and self-care
  4. Coordinate patient care and follow-up with healthcare professionals
  5. Document interactions accurately in electronic health records
  6. Adhere to protocols, guidelines, and best practices for telephonic nursing
  7. Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA regulations
  8. Engage in ongoing training to stay updated on medical advancements
  9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  10. Provide excellent customer service to ensure positive patient experiences
  11. Adapt care plans to meet diverse patient needs
  12. Meet deadlines independently and efficiently
  13. Collaborate within the nursing team for seamless care
  14. Utilize expertise in chronic illnesses and medication management
  15. Work with supervisors on complex problems

Required Qualifications
  • Active, unrestricted RN license in PA (state-specific or compact)
  • 3+ years clinical nursing experience
  • Experience with electronic medical records
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Availability for PT hours (7:30am - 6pm EST) on Mon & Fri or Wed & Thu
Preferred Qualifications
  • Telehealth nursing experience
  • Experience with Cerner

The hourly range is $28.61 to $56.06, based on full-time employment and factors like location, education, experience, and certifications.
