Job summary

Napleton Nissan in Merrillville, IN, is seeking a Call Center/Automotive BDC Representative to handle internet inquiries and phone leads, generating appointments for the sales team. This position is located at Napleton’s Midwest BDC Call Center in Merrillville and offers guaranteed pay of $750 per week for the first 30 days with flexible scheduling.

You will work in a fast-paced environment within a large automotive group with growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent computer skills required.
• Knowledge of call center environments; NO COLD CALLS.
• Automotive experience is helpful but not required.
• Able to persuade customers to set appointments.
• Willingness to undergo background check and drug screen.
• 18 years or older to comply with company policy.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming and outgoing calls and emails.
• Prospect follow-ups; set appointments for sales; gauge customer satisfaction.
• Reply to online inquiries via email, phone, and text.
• Schedule sales appointments and reschedule no-shows.
• Reach customers with current marketing incentives; follow up to generate leads.
• Explain product performance, options, and benefits to prospects.
• Encourage dealership visits and maintain follow-up systems.
• Support other duties as assigned by management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls and emails
• Prospect follow-up calls, set appointments for sales, and gauge customer satisfaction
• Answer customer internet inquires by via email, phone, and text
• Schedule sales appointments and reschedule no show customers
• Contact customers based on current marketing incentives
• Follow up with existing and potential customers to generate leads and close sales
• Explain product performance, application and benefits to prospects and describing all optional equipment available for customer purchase
• Follow up in a manner that results in the customer visiting the dealership
• Maintain a prospect and owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction
• Other duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements:

• Excellent computer skills required
• Knowledgeable to call center environment –NO COLD CALLS!
• Automotive experience helpful but not required
• Able to communicate persuasively with customers to set appointments
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local law/regulations
