Job summary

EdNapleton Automotive Group is seeking a Call Center/Automotive BDC Representative in Merrillville, IN. The role handles internet inquiries and phone leads to generate appointments for the dealership sales departments.

First 30 days guaranteed at $750/week; potential annual earnings $35,000–$70,000 with hourly pay and commissions. Flexible scheduling, benefits, and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Must have strong computer skills and basic tech fluency.
• Experience in a call center environment is preferred.
• Ability to communicate persuasively to set appointments.
• Automotive experience is helpful but not required.
• Willingness to undergo background check and drug screen.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming/outgoing calls and emails.
• Follow up with prospects; set sales appointments and gauge satisfaction.
• Respond to inquiries by email, phone, and text.
• Schedule and adjust sales appointments, reschedule no-shows.
• Reach customers using current incentives information.
• Pursue leads to generate sales and close deals.
• Explain product features and optional equipment to prospects.
• Encourage dealership visit through follow-up.
• Maintain a follow-up system to boost repeat/referral business.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls and emails
• Prospect follow-up calls, set appointments for sales, and gauge customer satisfaction
• Answer customer internet inquires by via email, phone, and text
• Schedule sales appointments and reschedule no show customers
• Contact customers based on current marketing incentives
• Follow up with existing and potential customers to generate leads and close sales
• Explain product performance, application and benefits to prospects and describing all optional equipment available for customer purchase
• Follow up in a manner that results in the customer visiting the dealership
• Maintain a prospect and owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction
• Other duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements:

• Excellent computer skills required
• Knowledgeable to call center environment –NO COLD CALLS!
• Automotive experience helpful but not required
• Able to communicate persuasively with customers to set appointments
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with company driving policy
