Job summary

Davies North America is seeking a Workers' Compensation Lost Time Adjuster in San Diego, CA to manage indemnity CA WC claims from inception to resolution. You will maintain communication with clients, producers and employers, handle diary systems for timely benefit administration, and ensure superior claims management.

Preferred candidates have CA WC experience, WCCA/WCCP designation, and Self-Insured License.

Qualifications

• CA Workers' Compensation experience required
• WCCA or WCCP designation preferred
• Self-Insured License preferred
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation

Responsibilities

• Conduct and direct investigation to determine AOE/COE and maintain timely contact with clients
• Establish initial reserves and manage reserves for claims
• Authorize medical treatment and indemnity benefits and handle legal aspects
• Provide quality service to clients, producers, employers and injured workers
• Determine settlement value and move cases toward closure
• Perform other duties as assigned
