Job summary

Crawford & Company is seeking a Team Manager – Workers' Compensation (California) Seasonal to lead the CA WC claim operations. You will supervise the investigation, management, and timely disposition of claims in alignment with guidelines and client needs.

You will support the VP/AVP of Claims in running the Service Center, drive performance standards, and coach staff to deliver quality outcomes while maintaining compliance with policies and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Five or more years of progressive experience in claims management with strong judgment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise investigation, management, and disposition of CA Workers' Compensation claims within guidelines.
• Assist VP/AVP of Claims in managing the Service Center.
• Establish performance standards, conduct appraisals, and manage staffing needs.
• Coordinate training and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
