Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years progressive experience as a Claim Examiner or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical ability and strong math aptitude.
• Ability to supervise and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise investigation, management, and disposition of California WC claims.
• Assist VP/AVP in managing the Service Center.
• Set performance standards and conduct appraisals.
• Review losses, assign to examiners, and balance workloads.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external guidelines; participate in claim reviews.
