Qualifications

• Four years of California workers' compensation claims management experience.
• California jurisdiction knowledge required; SIP certification to be obtained within one year.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and processes California workers' compensation claims and determines exposure.
• Negotiates settlements within designated authority.
• Calculates reserves and pays benefits; handles settlements.
• Prepares necessary state filings within statutory limits.
• Manages litigation; reports to the excess carrier and responds to directions in a timely manner.
