Job summary

AECOM is seeking an OPSC Coordinator for California State Grants in San Diego. You will manage the grant lifecycle, ensure compliance with California school facility funding regulations, and collaborate with attorneys, CPAs, and internal teams to deliver accurate applications and reporting.

The role requires strong knowledge of CA funding programs, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to read statutes and legal documents.

Qualifications

• BA/BS plus 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent
• Experience with California state funding programs and school facility regulations
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills; ability to interact with diverse stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Research and interpret California State regulations related to school facility funding.
• Identify and evaluate funding opportunities available to public schools.
• Prepare and submit grant applications and related documentation.
• Compile expense reports for auditors and manage grant records.
• Collaborate with attorneys, CPAs and administrative agencies to gather required information.
• Ensure compliance with funding guidelines and maintain organized grant records.
