Job summary

Molly Tea is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations across multiple California stores, ensure adherence to SOPs and service standards, and drive performance improvements.

You will lead store teams, manage staffing, scheduling, inventory, costs, and audits; open new stores; coach leaders; and travel regularly within the state to ensure consistent operations. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to build robust operating systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of multi-store operations management experience.
• Must have experience managing 3–5 or more stores.
• Strong experience in building operating systems, improving processes, and standardizing store operations.
• New store opening and ongoing operations management experience required.
• Experience in retail, FMCG, tea beverage, or food and beverage industries is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel regularly within California.
• Fluent Chinese and English communication skills are preferred.
• Able to start immediately or on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations across multiple stores in California.
• Ensure all stores follow company SOPs, service standards, and operational requirements.
• Manage store performance, staffing, scheduling, inventory, costs, and operational audits.
• Build and improve operating systems, processes, and store standards.
• Identify operational issues, develop action plans, and follow up on execution.
• Coach and develop Store Managers and store teams.
• Lead new store openings and ongoing operations.
