Weatherby Healthcare in Long Beach, CA is seeking a physician for a locum tenens assignment with a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off (or 4 on / 4 off) schedule. The position covers general, light trauma, OB/GYN, ortho, GI, cataracts, robotics, urology; peds ages 3–11 accepted on a case-by-case basis; no neuro, thoracic, vascular, cardiac, or complex neonates.

Paid malpractice, pre-paid travel and housing, 24-hour consultant support, and assignment details in an online portal.

Qualifications

• General anesthesia, OB and regional blocks are required.
• Hospital privileges are required.
• Two weeks on / two weeks off or four weeks on / four weeks off schedule.

• Week 1: Mon - Fri, 7 am - 3 pm day shifts
• Week 2: 24-hour pager call coverage Mon - Mon
• General, light trauma, OB/GYN, ortho, GI, cataracts, robotics, urology
• Healthy peds accepted ages 3 - 11, case by case basis
• NO: neuro, thoracic, vascular, cardiac, or complex peds/neonates
• Required skills: general anesthesia, OB, and regional blocks
• Hospital privileges required
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal

From $300.00 to $400.00 hourly
Ranges shown should be used as an estimate and are affected by many factors including the critical need of the position, your overall experience and qualifications, and other considerations. Rates shown are all-inclusive and combine an hourly base pay with other potential earnings like overtime, call, and holiday pay. Please contact your consultant for details."
