Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking physician-level locum tenens coverage in Hawthorne, CA. The assignment features a rotating schedule with 2 weeks on/2 weeks off (or 4 weeks on/4 weeks off) and a 7 am–3 pm day shift in Week 1, plus 24-hour pager call in Week 2.

The role covers general, light trauma, OB/GYN, ortho, GI, cataracts, robotics and urology, with healthy peds ages 3–11 on a case-by-case basis. Cases exclude neuro, thoracic, vascular, cardiac and complex peds/neonates.

Qualifications

• General anesthesia, OB and regional blocks are required.
• Hospital privileges are required to practice.
• Weatherby provides prepaid travel and housing expenses and malpractice insurance.

Job description
