Job summary

Treske Precision Machining, Inc. seeks a Calibration Technician to support Production and Quality Assurance by calibrating inspection gauges and equipment, maintaining records, and ensuring readiness of tools.

The ideal candidate will coordinate with outside calibration labs, maintain the Calibration Database, and work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to calibration standards. ASQ CCT certification is preferred; you should be detail-oriented, able to read blueprints, and

Qualifications

Two to five of industry experience and knowledge in the calibration of inspection equipment within a precision machining or manufacturing environment.
High school diploma or GED certificate, or 2–5 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Reviews calibration schedules and recalls inspection gauges and equipment as needed for calibration.
Performs internal calibrations in accordance with specified calibration standards and procedures, as required.
Coordinates the calibration of inspection gauges and equipment with outside calibration laboratories.
Maintains the Calibration Database and ensures all equipment information is accurate and up to date, including gauge and equipment locations.
Updates the Calibration Database when new gauges or equipment are purchased, added, removed, or retired from the system.
Maintains accurate and current calibration records and documentation.
Determines the appropriate measuring gauge or inspection equipment required for specific features and inspection requirements.
Coordinates with Production to ensure required gauges and inspection equipment are available, properly calibrated, and ready when needed.
Identifies opportunities for improvement and promotes team awareness of Quality policies and procedures in support of company goals.
Maintains a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
