Overview

ETI Precision is looking for a talented calibration technician to join its growing team in Roanoke, TX. This is a full-time role offering competitive pay and great benefits. Calibration Technician will test, calibrate, and troubleshoot a variety of test and measurement instruments. This critical equipment is maintained and periodically calibrated for accuracy, reliability, and conformance to established industry and customer standards. As a calibration technician, you will be relied upon by both our customers and your colleagues within an environment that values professional development opportunities.

Location: On-site at various customer sites in Roanoke, TX and surrounding areas. Occasionally at our office in Roanoke, TX.

Day to Day Responsibilities
  • Complete accurate and timely calibrations on customer sites
  • Perform routine and complex calibration on a wide variety of equipment per company processes and instruction documentation
  • Perform calibration on a variety of devices and instruments in accordance with established procedures and standards
  • Work directly with the client throughout the calibration process from the first onsite touch point to completion of the project, including good communication to provide client updates on services needed
  • Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards
  • Maintain calibration records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date
  • Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and support
  • Communicate with customers throughout the process and provide status updates

Basic Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to lift 50lbs
  • Able to climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods of time
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Good organizational and prioritization skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Ability and willingness to travel to customers’ locations in the Roanoke, TX area and occasional overnight out-of-state travel (1 to 2 nights once a month and potentially up to 1 week on a volunteer basis)
Nice to have
  • At least two years of experience in a related field
  • Knowledge of principles, procedures, methods, and techniques in metrology gained through education or professional experience
  • Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment
  • Experience working with Manufacturer's Quality Systems
  • Associate's degree in Engineering, Electronics, or other Technical Fields
  • Technical Degree or Certificate
  • Military PMEL Training
  • Experience with IndySoft
