Job summary

PTI Technologies Inc. is seeking an entry-level Calibration Technician in Oxnard, CA to support accurate measurements by calibrating and maintaining inspection and test equipment.

You will perform tests on a range of electrical and mechanical instruments, set up lab stations, and document results with strict traceability. The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 1–3 years related experience, basic computer literacy, and the ability to follow MIL-STD/FED-STD/ASTM requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 1–3 years related experience
• Computer literacy with the ability to learn test fluids
• Ability to follow QAM/QAP/QEI-021 and MIL-STD/FED-STD/ASTM requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform tests and calibrations on electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic instruments
• Set up lab equipment to evaluate and calibrate other gages and test tools
• Disassemble units, inspect for defects, measure parts to spec, and reassemble
• Align, repair, replace, balance, and calibrate components and circuitry to MIL standards
• Maintain traceability records, gage usage history, and inventory; issue recall/nonconformance notifications as needed
