Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certification in electronics, metrology, mechanical engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on calibration, testing, or quality control experience.
• ASQ Calibration Technician certification is a plus.
• Strong understanding of measurement principles and calibration techniques.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments (handheld devices, smart scopes).
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with calibration management software IndySoft is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration, testing, and adjustments on mechanical, electrical, and electronic instruments.
• Use precision measurement tools to ensure equipment meets specifications.
• Document calibration results and maintain detailed records.
• Troubleshoot and repair instruments when deviations occur.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, QC teams, and production staff.
• Maintain calibration tools and equipment in good working order.
• Follow safety protocols and QMS procedures.
