Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in East Greenbush, NY, is seeking a Calibration Technician to support manufacturing operations through calibration of instrumentation and coordination of PM/WO workflows.

The role involves troubleshooting, startup of instrumentation, and collaboration with Facilities Management to ensure compliant operations. Ideal candidates bring 2+ years (II) or 5+ years (III) of calibration experience, strong problem-solving, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• AAS degree, preferably in Engineering or Construction Technologies related area.
• Calibration Technician II/III/IV experience levels per the stated years.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate various types of instrumentation including temperature, pressure, level, flow, and analytical instruments.
• Perform loop checks, tune, troubleshoot, and start-up of instrumentation.
• Work with medium and low voltages.
• Perform basic plumbing and tube bending jobs.
• Assist FM-M processes and Clean Utility technicians in troubleshooting facilities and process issues.
• Process daily Work Orders (WO) and Preventative Maintenance (PM) with documentation.
• Communicate and coordinate with departments during planned/unplanned work events.
• Plan and schedule outside contractors/vendors for scheduled or non-scheduled PM or general work.

Working Shifts Available

• Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
• Sunday-Wednesday 6:00am-4:30pm
• Wednesday-Saturday 6:00am-4:30pm
• Training shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm for approximately 6 months

Discover Your Role

• Calibrate various types of instrumentation including temperature, pressure, level, flow, and analytical instruments

• Perform daily Work Orders (WO) and Preventative Maintenance (PM), and efficiently coordinating the workflow and documentation of PMs and WOs
• Communicate and coordinate with each department and within Facilities Management when planned and unplanned work events occur
• Plan and schedule outside contractors/vendors to perform scheduled and/or non-scheduled PM or general work, as needed
• Participate in compliance investigations if and when necessary

Qualifications

• AAS degree, preferably in an Engineering or Construction Technologies related area and the following minimum years of related experience for each level:
• Calibration Technician II: 2+ years or HSD/GED and 5+ years
• Calibration Technician III: 5+ years or HSD/GED and 8+ years
• Calibration Technician IV: 8+ years or HSD/GED and 11+ years
• Demonstrated basic problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn and follow routine procedures independently as well as part of a team
• The ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs
• Participating in a rotating on-call schedule
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain effective time management skills to allow deadlines to be met in a timely manner
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and overall comfort and general familiarity with computer systems

Gowning and Environment

Full cleanroom attire (Examples may include: including laundered undergarments, gown, facemask, hairnet, safety glasses, safety shoes and booties, latex gloves and the use of sanitizing agents during gowning process including IPA) Ability to remove jewelry, make-up and nail adornments when wearing cleanroom attire Level will be determined based on qualifications relevant to the role
