This role is part of the company’s Electrified Powertrain Engineering Team, focused on developing and refining electric and hybrid vehicle technologies. The team includes calibrators, control strategists, and energy analysts collaborating to innovate and improve Ford’s electrified vehicles.
The role involves:
- Calibration Support: Assisting in calibrating electrified powertrains to meet targets for drivability, emissions, fuel economy, and OBDII compliance.
- Prototype Fleet Management: Coordinating and maintaining hybrid electric calibration vehicles, including instrumentation and part updates.
- Testing & Diagnostics: Supporting development trips, road testing, and facility-based testing; collecting and analyzing data using tools like ATI Vision and PT Diagnostics.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Working with external partners (e.g., Roush, EVB) and internal teams to ensure smooth integration and testing.
