Job summary

Kensington360 is seeking a Calibration Technician to join a specialist calibration, inspection and repair business. You'll work across customer sites, calibrating and troubleshooting precision equipment, carrying out adjustments and basic repairs, and helping customers keep their measurement equipment accurate and reliable.

The role involves calibrating and adjusting precision test equipment, visiting customer sites, maintaining calibration records, and evaluating gage tolerances.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of calibration experience.
  • Strong understanding of precision measurement and calibration principles.
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Customer-focused approach.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Willingness to travel locally 25-40%.

Responsibilities

  • $28-$40 per hour, depending on experience
  • Monday-Friday | 25-40% Local Travel

We're looking for a Calibration Technician to join a specialist calibration, inspection and repair business. You'll work across customer sites, calibrating and troubleshooting precision equipment, carrying out adjustments and basic repairs, and helping customers keep their measurement equipment accurate and reliable.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Calibrating, adjusting and carrying out basic repairs on precision test equipment
  • Working primarily with mechanical and dimensional measurement equipment
  • Visiting customer sites and building strong customer relationships
  • Troubleshooting equipment and finding practical solutions
  • Evaluating gage tolerances and measurement methods
  • Maintaining accurate calibration records and documentation
What You’ll Need

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to travel locally 25-40%
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with areas such as pressure, torque, thermodynamics, weight/force, dimensional, electrical or electronic calibration is valuable.
  • You may also have worked with ULMs, micrometers, calipers, gage blocks, optical comparators or CMMs.
  • Experience with gage management software and ISO 17025 is also a plus.
