Job summary

Rocketdyne is hiring an Equipment Controls Specialist in Mason, OH to manage calibrations for test and measurement equipment, ensure availability and compliance with regulatory standards. You will lead on-site calibrations, review certificates, and collaborate with customers to resolve technical inquiries.

The role requires metrology experience, familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 or FDA-regulated environments, and the ability to develop automated procedures using MET/CAL.

Qualifications

• Experience with quality documentation review and traceability in ISO/IEC 17025 or FDA-regulated environments.
• Hands-on experience with calibration management systems and MET/CAL or similar software.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools, including Microsoft Excel.
• Strong time-management skills with a track record of meeting calibration deadlines.
• Clear verbal and written communication with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Workload triage and scheduling to ensure on-time calibrations before expiration dates.
• Coordinate field and on-the-floor calibrations at manufacturing facilities as the main technical contact.
• Perform QA reviews of calibration data, datasheets and certificates for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs with vendors and document automated calibration procedures.
