Trescal Inc in Dallas, TX is seeking an Entry Level Calibration Process Operator to join our growing team. You will execute defined calibration processes, document results, and support daily workflow in a compliance-driven environment.

This apprentice-level role focuses on accuracy, repeatability, and learning calibration techniques through hands-on training, enabling progression toward Calibration Technician I responsibilities within a supportive, quality-minded culture.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
  • Ability to follow detailed written procedures with precision.
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency in repetitive tasks.
  • Basic computer proficiency and data entry.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn technical concepts.
  • Ability to lift and handle instruments safely.
  • Experience in manufacturing or quality-control environments preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with measurement tools (micrometers, multimeters, torque tools) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate calibration equipment, fixtures and software per documented procedures.
  • Perform step-by-step calibration processes with focus on repeatability and specifications.
  • Enter results into the calibration management system (CMS) with high accuracy.
  • Prepare instruments for calibration (visual inspection, cleaning, basic setup).
  • Package, label and stage completed instruments for review or shipment.
  • Follow safety, quality and environmental guidelines at all times.
  • Identify out-of-tolerance conditions and elevate to a senior technician or supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and support daily workflow efficiency.
  • Assist with equipment warm-up, verification checks, and basic maintenance tasks.
  • Participate in training to progress toward Calibration Technician I capabilities.
  • All other duties as assigned.

The Calibration Process Operator is an apprentice-level role responsible for executing defined calibration processes using established procedures, software, and equipment.
