Job summary

Trescal Inc. is seeking a well‑rounded Calibration Technician to join our Mobile Calibration Laboratory team serving the Dallas area, with travel to the Central US. You will calibrate a range of instruments on-site at customer locations and in fixed labs, ensuring data accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of calibration experience, PMEL/TMDE training or a technical degree, and knowledge of ISO 17025. Travel and strong troubleshooting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years calibrating test & measurement equipment in a commercial or military lab.
• Military PMEL or TMDE training OR a technical associates degree OR equivalent work experience.
• Experience calibrating several disciplines of test & measurement equipment: Physical Dimensional; DC/Low frequency; RF Microwave.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations on medium to high level instrumentation.
• Calibrations on-site at customer locations in Mobile Calibration laboratories and at fixed site labs.
• Travel to service customers in the Central US; travel may be by air or ground depending on location.
• Create and verify calibration data sheets for technical content and accuracy.

We have a great opportunity for a well‑rounded and highly motivated Calibration Technician to join our team. This is a traveling position based around the Dallas area with a Mobile Calibration Laboratory. Additional travel outside the area is typically in the state of Texas and the adjoining states.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations on medium to high level test and measurement instrumentation
• Calibrations will be performed on-site at customer locations in one of our Mobile Calibration laboratories and as needed, in a fixed site calibration lab.
• Travel to service our customers in the Central US. Travel might be by air or ground transportation depending on the customer location.
• Use your troubleshooting, repair, and calibration knowledge to work on unique equipment
• Be responsible for customer satisfaction on all equipment and services
• Create and verify calibration data sheets for technical content and accuracy based upon specifications and approved procedures

Requirements

• Military (PMEL OR TMDE) training OR a technical associates degree OR equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of two years of experience calibrating test & measurement equipment in a commercial or military calibration laboratory.
• Experienced in calibrating several disciplines of test and measurement equipment including but not limited to: Physical Dimensional; DC/Low frequency; RF Microwave.
• Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of ANSI / NCSL Z-540 and ISO 9000
• Experience using Calibration software such as: LabView, SureCal, Met/Cal, etc.
