Calibration/Metrology Technician, Manufacturing

Join us as a Calibration/Metrology Technician, Manufacturing at Siemens.

We are seeking a skilled technician to join our manufacturing team at our Fort Worth, TX facility. This role involves calibrating and maintaining precision measurement tools, managing calibration records, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Build and maintain calibration records for approximately 3000 tools using calibration management software.
2. Prepare instruments for calibration, ensuring proper handling and storage of standards.
3. Monitor calibration status, collect tools for calibration, and perform calibration procedures according to SOPs.
4. Utilize measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, CMMs, and related software.
5. Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
6. Document calibration data, measurements, and analysis results for reporting and review.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• 1+ year experience in manufacturing, familiar with ISO audits.
• Experience with calibration tools and management software (GageTRAK preferred).
• Proficient in using precision measurement tools and related software.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel reporting.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Familiarity with CAD software.

Additional Details:

Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)

Hourly Rate: $28.00 - $36.00, depending on experience.
