Job summary

Advanced Technology Services seeks a Calibration Technician to travel to customer sites for device calibration, repair, and technical support. You will read quality control manuals, collect data, and test devices to specification.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from a junior college or technical school and one year related experience or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures; write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively before groups.
• Must be a team player and self-motivated with ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites for calibration, repair, and technical support as needed.
• Read quality control manuals and testing specifications to obtain data for testing/calibration of devices.
• Set controls and operate calibration fixtures to test devices per specifications; observe readings and identify defects; adjust calibration mechanisms as required.
• Prepare calibration certificates and service reports; interact with other departments to resolve issues.
