Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA seeks a Calibration Program Lead to own the internal calibration program within the Quality Engineering team. You will partner across product development, production, and field operations to manage tracking software, schedules, accuracy, and traceability of calibration data and supplier interactions.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Science, Engineering, or a similar technical field (military training considered).
• Experience managing calibration in a large production environment.
• Experience working with 3rd party calibration vendors.
• Experience improving calibration processes and creating procedures.
• Familiar with industry calibration standards and audit/compliance practices.
• Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage calibration database including location and ownership of tools; communicate recalls.
• Coordinate equipment rotations to avoid resource starvation.
• Oversee physical recall of devices needing calibration.
• Build infrastructure for equipment flagged for calibration (drop locations, intake info, vendor instructions).
• Create processes documenting standard operations of calibration program; define roles/responsibilities.
• Coordinate calibration activities with vendors: quotes, purchase orders, on-site calibration scheduling.
• Support creation and communication of calibration procedures; train internal stakeholders.
• Manage risk assessment for products affected by out-of-calibration tools and ensure certificates when required.
• Ensure tooling meets calibration standards per regulations or customer requirements.
