Job summary

Norbar Torque Tools, a member of the Snap-on family, is seeking a calibration lab specialist to support calibration activities at Norbar US.

You will perform ISO 17025 calibrations, inspect customer equipment, document deviations, maintain records, and assist with audits while coordinating with Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, Sales and Customer Service.

The position offers a pay rate of $20–$30 per hour and provides 100% paid medical insurance, an HSA and a 401K benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• 1–3 years in calibration, electronics, or a technical lab.
• Basic understanding of torque tools and electronic measurement.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures with accuracy.
• Ability to work independently without regular supervision.
• Proficiency with hand tools, test equipment, and calibration software.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Great attention to detail and organization.
• Adaptable to change.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations per ISO 17025.
• Inspect customer equipment for accuracy and safety.
• Review deviations and seek approvals.
• Maintain workflow in the lab.
• Schedule calibrations to minimize turnaround time.
• Support audits and compliance.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, Sales and Customer Service.
• Document quality control activities.
• Contribute to revenue growth for service departments.
• Ensure Quality Manual complies with ISO 17025.
• Address customer inquiries professionally.
