Job summary

Harvey Nash is seeking a controls engineer to join our Large Engine Controls team in Illinois. You will calibrate engine control systems in simulation and on-engine, contributing across the full lifecycle of control systems for advanced engines.

You will apply feedback control knowledge to design, calibrate, and validate controllers, working in engine labs with real hardware and collaborating with a global team. Internship experience in engine controls is welcome.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience required; graduate degree counts as experience.
• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering required.
• Internships count as job experience if in engine controls.

Typical task breakdown:

• Control systems calibration in simulation and on-engine
• Analyze and present engine data

Interaction with team:

• Mix of desk work and on-engine work in the test cells

Education & Experience Required:

• Years of experience: 2 years. Graduate degree in relevant field counts as experience.
• Degree requirement: BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering
