Job summary

Experis is seeking a Calibration Engineer to join their Chelsea, MI team onsite. You will support propulsion/powertrain calibration efforts, validating engine control system calibrations, and delivering results aligned with program milestones.

The ideal candidate has a BS in mechanical or electrical engineering, hands-on experience in drivability and emissions calibration, and proficiency with INCA/AVL CRETA and MATLAB/Simulink. Strong communication in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical engineering required.
• Powertrain systems engineering experience developing Engine HW, Controls/SW, and Calibration.
• Drivability and Emissions calibration experience, including Hybrid Powertrain calibration experience.
• Knowledge of INCA/AVL CRETA or similar calibration management tools.
• Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink; strong English proficiency and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and validate propulsion system functions to meet drivability requirements and emission standards.
• Conduct vehicle testing and development under varied environmental and tolerance conditions to meet certification requirements.
• Deliver calibration at program milestones following client procedures for relevant areas.
• Verify correct integration of basic settings recommended by design.
• Support calibration activities aligning with drivability, emissions standards, and customer requirements.

Our client is seeking a Calibration Engineer to join their team. As a Calibration Engineer, you will be part of the Propulsion/Powertrain Calibration effort supporting engine control system calibration and validation activities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proven propulsion/powertrain calibration experience, and the ability to deliver calibration results aligned to program milestones and compliance requirements.
